Coach Rob's First Practice
Robbie held his first official optional practice for his new tennis students yesterday!В He was super pumped to meet them and to put his coaching into practice!В He had 10 students show up and they practice for an hour and a half or so…Rob has the sunburn to prove it.
He has practice scheduled twice a week for the next 2 weeks, a week off for us to go on vacation to Oklahoma, and then 9 straight days of practice leading up to the beginning of school…which I cringe to say starts in only one month.
Their first match is already scheduled for the last week of August so he’s got to make sure they are ready even before school gets underway.
Then, last night we had the new assistant tennis coach over for dinner.В She’s a young single girl that seems super great!В She and Rob were able to talk lots of things through, get some plans made, and best of all, just form a teamly bond already.В Awesome!
